Breaking the Seal

If you have found this message, you are my final hope.
A long time ago a chaotic order known as the Alchemist's Bastion came into possession of a source of limitless magical potential. I was a part of another organization which managed to contain the Bastion within our walls. We were attacked constantly inside and out, but we had a plan to maintain our defence.
We were able to contain the Bastion along with ourselves in a pocket out of sync with time itself. The world would move on without us on and forget about us. I would be the fool to undo that.
I thought that with the pocket in place the Bastion was secure and my friends and I could be free. I was able to slip out of the pocket by myself, but opening a passage for everyone else would require more powerful magic.
In my travels I encountered the Tlaxans and was in awe of their crystal magic. Surely just one of these would be enough power and focus to open another rift out of the time pocket.
I befriended a Tlaxan shaman who went on to become a renowned general among their ranks. He respected the knowledge and power I had to share, and I too grew to respect him.
After many years I was able to secure a crystal in secret and perfect the spell to revisit the tower, but when I attempted to everything went wrong.
The rift was unstable and incapable of being held open for more than a single person without letting others loose unintentionally. A dozen or so alchemists were set free which I then had to track down before they caused too much havoc. Unfortunately I couldn't find them all, so another safeguard had to be put in place.
I was able to find an order to protect the time pocket, but if I have learned anything it is that no plan is foolproof.
Until the artifact the alchemists possess is retrieved, they will always be a threat.
That is what I need you to do. If you have made it to this point you are clearly more than capable of infiltrating the Bastion. This final room is my last test and, once the seal
is broken, you will need to finish what you've started and defeat the alchemists.
Instructions to break the seal will follow. Don't fail where I have.
