Discovery of Nihilo, written by Head Researcher Katherine Vaughan is one of the many books located within The Fallen Forum. This book is about the Congress members discovering an eleventh node on the metaphysical Tree of Life, which represents the aspect of Nothing. It also details a bit more on the creation process of the Olive Wool.

As we used the Branch from the Tree of Life, we began to discover something serious. There are not just ten nodes to the Tree of Life. There is an "eleventh", surrounding the entire tree. An emptiness. We call it Nihilo. What better power to tap into than that? We began to draw on this magic to give it form, combining it, as all wool do, with another power. We experimented with a few magical energies, making mistakes along the way. Daath magic had seemed of particular interest for a time. Things didn't work out however. In the end, we chose Keter, the aspect of consciousness. These powers are to be siphoned through the branch, in the shape of a needle, and sewn into the wool as we craft it, held within an enchanted chassis. The work has only begun, yet it seems so promising. These threads will come together into perfection.
