It spoke to me today, or rather... it communicated with me. It placed words in my head, in the same awful way that voice once did, without actually "speaking".
It told me it was... connected to its brothers, linked through some unseen thread that binds them together.
They are born of something much greater. An ancient being that has resided in this world for a length of time that I cannot even begin to comprehend.
They are tasked by this ancient one to wander this endless void, seeking out passages into the larger web of reality.
And from that web, they search for an entrance into my world. It refused to say why...
But... they once felt a rumble, a ripple through the realm that caught the attention of that ancient being. It sent them here to investigate, and they found something unbelievable.
A perfect copy of the Arboretum, grafted into the very fabric of this realm's existance by some unseen force.
And what they found inside...
