The Tree of Life is a metaphysical concept based around the belief that there are ten core aspects to magic. Laid out along a tree diagram, with 22 connecting points, these aspects combine in unexpected ways to form the basis of magic we know today. Being able to locate these nodes and the crossing points requires a deep pool of magical knowledge.
Knowing how to tap into that knowledge is the aspect Daath. Magic has memory, and Daath is there to guide you through it to find what you truly need. Being able to sort through the edges of Daath will provide aspiring wizards with great power. But be warned. Just because you have found the magic you need with Daath does not mean you have the Midat to face it.
