Elcard the Ignoble

Elcard the Ignoble is the boss of the Alchemy Labs dungeon and is likely the very first boss the player will encounter in Monumenta. He has low health and is meant to introduce the player to boss fights.

Boss Fight

Bomb Toss

Elcard will throw a single TNT towards the player.

Sword Sweep

After he reaches 50% health, Elcard will periodically stop moving and swing his sword in a circle around him.

Retreat

After Elcard is defeated, he will vanish and summon two bandit elites in attempt to finish off the player.

Loot

Elcard will drop nothing, but instead give the player access to the Alchemy Labs dungeon reward room.

Trivia

• Elcard is the only low-level boss. The others are designed for players with more end-game gear, with the exception of C'Shura in the Forsworn Sanctum.
• Even though Elcard normally retreats at the end of the battle, the player can still "kill" him if they are quick enough.
