I am unsure how it occurred, but the bringer of gifts, our most sacred treasure, has been shorn in two.
Salazar... He has always been a problem child amongst our kin. I had hoped that, when he came to us begging to be allowed back in, that he would have changed from his experiences with the outside world.
And in fact, he had. Just not the way I had hoped. His greed seems to have consumed him, a desire for power that he seemingly once tasted. What happened to you, my child?
What remains now... something about it disturbs me to my core. What once was a shining, pink symbol of Balance is now a lilac, and only brings about Harmony.
I must wonder, does the other exist still? Somewhere beyond my reach?
That idea makes me uneasy, a rose blade of only Dissonance.
I can only hope now that we continue to receive gifts from it.
As for Salazar, his actions cannot go without repercussions. As much as it pains us, the decision was
made to banish him, the first ever in our history.
I hear he sought out the help of pirates, only for the deal to go sour. A man by the name of Varcosa now holds him.
As much as I wish I could continue to protect Salazar, it is not my place. That is not my world, and he must face the choices that brought him to this point.
I wish him the best, he will need it.
