In the earliest days of human history on the Chillwind Tundra, there was a legendary King, known as Alric. During his reign, he battled back the threat of the native giants living below the continent, some of which woke from their slumber to wipe out these settlers. Meeting with a Frost Giant known as Hrimnir, Alric returned with an artifact that supposedly helped him defeat the waking giants and establish human control of the isle.

Today, we believe we have found Hrimnir. A massive specimen, yet incredibly dead, Hrimnir was classified as a "Sleeper" of the Giants. We call him the "Giver of Gifts" here, due to his gift of the artifact to Alric. However, what we've found on this corpse is concerning. Clear signs of a struggle, and a festered, still burning wound in his chest. However Hrimnir died, it was not peacefully. Could another giant have taken revenge on Hrimnir for his actions? Could a human have stumbled across this massive being and destroyed it?

Or dare I suggest Alric be to blame...?

We shall preserve the corpse as best we can, and begin experiments. This is a very momentous find, and could help us here at the Congress understand truly ancient history that is now only told in legends and songs.
