Lies Sleeping is a book written by T'Lm, former leader of the Tlaxan fortress of Velara. It can be found during The Crystal Connection, in the version of the final chambers of the Plagueroot Temple accessible from Ta'Eldim.

The ends of the Plagueroot Temple still feel faintly of that wicked magic that poured from Myrahg. Its influence held this place for so long, it may never go away.
There is much to be learned from the glyphs hewn into the walls. Writing hidden in statues. The Tlaxani that built this temple are not the Tlaxani I know today. This place is much older than the War We Lost.
Perhaps here I can find our people's past with the Genius Loci. Kaul, the great Yellow one. Xolotl, the eternity. Mictlan, the creeping death. One day soon I will understand them. They have spoken to me in dreams, and now I hope to speak back, in time.
