The Mechanical Armory is an Epic item that can be purchased within the P.O.R.T.A.L. Strike. It has the ability to open the Armory screen, from which you can create, customize, and swap between multiple loadouts. It's functionality is similar to that of a Loadout Lockbox, however not only can it swap equipment, but also vanity, charms, and class abilities. Swapped items are taken out of and stored in either the player's inventory or any of their Equipment Cases in their inventory or ender chest.

The Armory Screen

The armory screen is comprised of four primary elements:

  • A Dark Oak Sign called Mechanical Armory Info that provides information about the actions you can take in the menu.
  • An Armor Stand called Available Loadout Slots: X/Y that can be clicked to purchase additional loadout slots in exchange for a Loadout Lockbox, a Tesseract of the Elements, and a C.H.A.R.M. 2000. Additionally, it tells you how many armory slots you have in use (X) and how many you own in total (Y). You begin with 3.
  • A Chest called Stack/Retrieve Equipment which can be clicked in different ways to place items into or take items out of your equipment cases.
  • 45 Black Stained Glass Panes which can be used to store loadouts. As the Info sign will tell you, you can interact with these slots in the following ways:
    • Click an empty slot to create a loadout with what you currently have equipped.
    • Left-click a loadout to edit it.
    • Right-click a loadout to swap to it, equipping it like a lockbox.
    • Shift + Right-click to only swap equipment and vanity.
    • Swap to rearrange loadouts.

After left clicking on a loadout, the loadout menu will open, with the following features:

  • An item in the top center that allows you to rename your loadout and change its icon.
  • An Stone Sword that allows you to set a loadout to be able to be swapped quickly with the swap key.
  • A delete Loadout button.
  • Include/Exclude buttons for each of items, vanity, charms, and class, which prevents the loadout from swapping those items.
  • Set to Current buttons for each of those categories, which is how you edit your loadouts.
