The Crown
It whispers sometimes. Quietly. Right into my brain. I'm not even sure it stops even after I take off the artifact. "Put me back", it begs. It wants to share the unknowns of the beyond. I want to let it. It knows more than anyone at the Congress has any hope of understanding. What could there be to lose? I will wear the crown, and it shall share with us the future. It's perfectly safe.
