The city of Frostgate in the Chillwind Tundra is home to one of the largest known cathedrals to any religion in the known world. Worshipping the Lord on High, these worshippers believe in a singular god who transcends this very reality, and watches from "above", guiding the pieces of humanity as he sees fit. Their worship structure is simple.
Once per week, followers pack into their worship space and are led by a figure who will walk them through a worship of the Lord on High. Parishioners offer tithes to the church to assist in any costs the building and its inhabitants incur. Additionally, the lower level of the cathedral contains a crypt, where important religious figures are entombed.
In the past, this crypt had an issue with the undead making their way in somehow, but these issues seem to have since been handled, and attributed to the Lord on High. One notable branch of this religion is known as the Frost Moon Knights. Formerly an regimen of guards for the founder of Chillwind, Lord Alric, this elite team also became high ranking clergy of the church, before suddenly leaving the faith many years ago. This splinter's leader cited a vision from beyond, claiming a child, called Alutana, was a true divine being, carrying the legacy of truth. They vanished with her into their temple, Whitecliffe. This was decades ago, and their presence has proliferated across the eastern coast of Chillwind.
