Warriors specialize in melee combat, being able to both deal and survive heavy damage.

Abilities

Formidable

  • Passive: Gain a base of 20% Knockback Resistance. This stacks with other skills and items.

Counter Strike

  • Level 1: When a mob attacks you (even if the attack is blocked or negated), a Counter Strike is primed against that mob, which lasts up to 4 seconds. Hitting a mob with a Counter Strike deals 10% more damage and removes the Counter Strike.
  • Level 2: Damage bonus is increased to 20%. Additionally, the first time you taunt a given mob using an ability, a Counter Strike is primed against that mob.
  • Enhance: Take 10% less damage from a mob that has Counter Strike against them. If the Counter Strike was primed while you had absorption active, take 12.5% less damage instead, and gain 50% Knockback Resistance while the Counter Strike is active. Also, when dealing a Counter Strike, apply 10% Bleed for 8 seconds to mobs in a 2 block radius.

Weapon Mastery

  • Level 1: You gain 10% damage resistance while holding a sword. Additionally, your axe damage is increased by +2 plus 5% of final damage done.
  • Level 2: Increase axe damage by +4 plus 10% of final damage done and increase sword damage by +1 plus 10% of final damage done.
  • Enhance: Deal +7.5% final damage when using either an axe or a sword. Gain +15% speed when using an axe. Apply 10% weaken for 4s when using a sword.
  • Tips: If you are playing guardian only level 1 is needed for tanking while holding a sword.

Toughness

  • Level 1: Gain +10% max health and damage from Poison, Wither, and Drowning is reduced by 20%.
  • Level 2: Gain +20% max health and damage from Poison, Wither, and Drowning is reduced by 40%.
  • Enhance: Gain an additional +5% max health. Additionally, when below 50% health, gain 20% healing.
  • Tips: Not recommended early on, but after orange this ability can help guardian out a lot and it is a decent last ability to get for berserker.

Frenzy

  • Level 1: Gain +30% Attack Speed for 5 seconds after killing a mob.
  • Level 2: Gain +40% Attack Speed and +20% Speed for 5 seconds after killing a mob.
  • Enhance: Additionally, your next melee damage within 5 seconds after getting a kill deals 15% extra damage.
  • Tips: Useful when using weapons with low attack speed and is great for berserker as it further increases your ability to run into a pack of enemies and use brute force/meteor slam to wipe them out. Not recommended for guardians.

Riposte SkillRiposte.png

  • Level 1: While wielding a sword or axe, you block a melee attack that would have hit you. Cooldown: 15s.
  • Level 2: Cooldown lowered to 12s and if you block an attack with Riposte's effect while holding a sword, your next sword attack within 2s deals double damage. If you block with Riposte's effect while holding an axe, the attacking mob is stunned for 3s.
  • Enhance: When Riposte activates, deal 15.0 melee damage to all mobs in a 4.0 block radius and root them for 1.5s.
  • Tips: Greatly improves survivabilty for berserkers, and can assist with damage as a guardian because you will most likely use a sword for the 10% resistance from weapon mastery.

Defensive Line SkillDefensive Line.png

  • Level 1: When you block while sneaking, you and your allies in an 8 block radius gain 20% Resistance for 10 seconds. Upon activating this skill mobs in a 3 block radius of you and your allies are knocked back. Cooldown: 30s.
  • Level 2: The effect is increased to 30% Resistance.
  • Enhance: Additionally, all effected players negate the next melee attack dealt to them within the duration.
  • Tips: Great for Guardian especially if you are doing group content, but berserkers will not benefit from this much especially later on.

Brute Force

  • Level 1: Attacking an enemy with a critical attack passively deals 2 more damage to the mob and 2 damage to all enemies in a 2 block radius around it, and knocks all non-boss enemies away from you.
  • Level 2: Damage is increased to 10 percent of the attack's damage plus 2.
  • Enhance: Half a second after triggering this ability, it triggers another wave centered on the same mob, with 75% of the damage and all of the knockback.
  • Tips: Level 2 is highly recommended for berserker as level 1 deals minimal damage. Do note that hitting a mob with the wave other than the rmob you attacked gives a Glorious Battle stack. Not highly recommended for tank builds.

Shield Bash SkillShield Bash.png

  • Level 1: Block while looking at an enemy within 4 blocks and not sneaking to deal 8 melee damage, stun for 1 second, and taunt the targeted enemy. Elites and bosses are rooted instead of stunned. Cooldown: 8s.
  • Level 2: Additionally, apply damage, stun, and taunt to all enemies in a 3 block radius from the enemy you are looking at.
  • Enhance: Blocking damage with a shield within 1s of beginning to block refreshes 50% of this skill's cooldown.
  • Tips: Amazing ability for guardians, as it taunts and stuns- both of which are life savers for other players, which doing so is the role of a tank. Not recommended for berserkers, as hitting 2 or more mobs (requires level 2) gives a Glorious Battle stack.

Berserker

Berserkers specialize in melee combat. They thrive in the heart of battle taking heavy risks for great rewards.

Choosing this specialization requires completion of A Towering Objective.

Glorious Battle SkillGlorious Battle.png

  • Level 1: Dealing indirect damage with an ability grants you a Glorious Battle stack. Shift and swap hands to consume a stack and charge forwards at 1.3 blocks per second, gaining full knockback resistance until landing. Vertical movement speed is capped at 0.3 blocks per second. When you land, deal 20 damage to the nearest mob within 3.0 blocks. Additionally, knock back all mobs within 3.0 blocks.
  • Level 2: Damage increased to 25. Velocity is increased to 1.6. Vertical speed cap is removed.

Meteor Slam SkillMeteor Slam.png

  • Level 1: Pressing the swap key grants you Jump Boost 4 for 2s. Cooldown: 8s. Falling more than 3 blocks passively generates a slam when you land, dealing melee damage to all enemies in a 2 block radius around you. Falling increases the damage scaling per block fallen by +1 melee damage linearly, starting at +1 damage for the first block fallen and capping at +4 melee damage per block fallen. The damage scaling per block fallen is reduced by 90% after the inital 5 blocks. If any enemies are damaged by a slam, you take no fall damage from that fall.
  • Level 2: Jump Boost level is increased from 4 to 5. Cooldown is reduced from 8s to 6s. Damage size is increased from 2 to 3 blocks. Damage scaling per block fallen is increased from +1 to +1.25 starting at +1.25 for the first block fallen and capping at +5 melee damage per block fallen instead.

Rampage SkillRampage.png

  • Level 1: Gain a stack of rage for each 50 melee damage dealt (100% more in region 3). Stacks decay by 1 every 5 seconds of not dealing melee damage and cap at 15. Passively gain 0.75% damage resistance for each stack. When at 10 or more stacks, right click while looking down to consume all stacks and damage mobs in a 4.0 block radius by 1.5 times the number of stacks consumed. For the next (stacks consumed / 2) seconds, heal 2.5% of max health per second and keep your passive damage reduction.
  • Level 2: Gain a stack of rage for each 35 melee damage dealt, with stacks capping at 20.
  • Tips: Hitting mobs with the active attack gives a Glorious Battle stack, this skill helps with survivabilty when you are consistantly dealing melee damage.

Guardian

Guardians specialize in melee combat. Their skills are focused on taking heavy damage and drawing enemy attacks to themselves.

Choosing this specialization requires completion of Guarding the Guarded.

  • Level 1: Left-clicking while sneaking makes all enemies within 14 blocks target you. You gain 1 Absorption per affected mob (up to 4 Absorption) for 10 seconds and +15% melee damage for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 20s.
  • Level 2: You gain 2 Absorption per affected mob (up to 8 Absorption) and +20% melee damage instead. When 6 affected mobs (or all if there are fewer) are dead, for each mob, gain +4% speed for 10 seconds and reduce the cooldown of Guardian skills by 0.5 seconds.
  • Tips: Very strong damage boost, highly recommended for DPS Guardian

  • Level 1: Left-click the air twice while looking directly at another player within 25 blocks to charge to them (cannot be used in safezones). Upon arriving, knock away all mobs within 4 blocks. Both you and the other player gain 8 Absorption health for 10 seconds. Left-click twice while looking down to cast on yourself. Cooldown: 30s.
  • Level 2: Absorption increased to 12 health. Additionally, affected mobs are stunned for 3 seconds.

Shield Wall File:SkillShield Wall.png

  • Level 1: Press the swap key while holding a shield in either hand to create a 180 degree arc of particles from 1 block below to 5 blocks above the user's location and with a 2.75 block radius in front of the user. Enemies that pass through the wall are dealt 3 melee damage and knocked back. The wall also blocks all enemy projectiles such as arrows or fireballs. The wall lasts 6 seconds. The wall moves along with the user. Triggering again while active makes the wall stationary at the same location for the remainder of the duration, with radius increased to 4.0 blocks. Cooldown: 25s.
  • Level 2: The shield lasts 10 seconds instead. Cooldown: 18s.
