Elemental Fear is a book written by Maride, a member of the Sons of the Forest. It can be found in the Vernal Nightmare dungeon at the beginning of Kaul's dream, the corrupted nether-like section.

The elements have ravaged this place. The flames of Fire scorched us. Water rained down upon us, drowning us and freezing the strong. Air cut through our bones and Earth held us in place.
But breaking through into this cavern we found a power that assaulted us, unlike anything else I've experienced. I was told I was one of the lucky ones for surviving all other of the Nature Spirit's attempt on our lives. But now voices whisper in my head. My very soul screams.
I question my sanity, and my very life. The spirit below (Vellyn calls the being "Kaul") must be close. The bindings must be wearing thin.
I hope that creature feels fear. It's the only thing that would explain what is happening around us.
This must be a nightmare.
