Pulsating Gold

Pulsating Gold is a specialty currency used within the King's Valley.

Acquire

Pulsating Gold can be acquired by trading 2 Royal Dust for 1 Pulsating Gold at the infusion altar in Ta'Eldim, or at the Royal Spellbinder in Sierhaven Academy.

Usage

After the player has completed the Tlaxan Troubles quest, the player can infuse items at the infusion altar using varying amounts of Pulsating Gold and levels. The first level for an item requires no gold, but the amount adds up each level. Rares and uncommons increase by 2 gold per level. Enhanced rares, artifacts, and relics increase by 3 gold per level. Epics increase by 6 gold per level. Speaking to the NPC standing on the altar allows the player to infuse any items they're wearing or have in their hands.

8 Pulsating Gold can be converted into a Pulsating Gold Bar, which serves no purpose other than representing 8 Pulsating Gold.

The King's Greaves can be purchased from the Royal Spellbinder for 5 Royal Crystals and 32 Pulsating Gold. The Royal Spellbinder also sells 8 golden apples or 8 golden carrots for a pulsating gold.
