Shamans excel in strategic positioning and location defense, using their stationary totems to control the battle.

Abilities

Totemic Empowerment

  • Passive: Gain 5% speed and take 5% less damage while standing within 10 blocks of your totems.

Cleansing Totem

  • Level 1: Press left click with a melee weapon while sneaking to fire a projectile that summons a Cleansing totem. Players within 6 blocks of this totem heal for 6% of their maximum health per second. Duration: 8s. Cooldown: 30s.
  • Level 2: Duration is increased to 12s and now cleanses debuffs for players 2 times evenly during it's duration.
  • Enhance: Increases healing by 3% and now overheals into absorption with a maximum of 2 hearts.

Flame Totem

  • Level 1: Right click while holding a melee weapon and sneaking to fire a projectile that summons a flame totem. The totem throws explosive fireballs at a target within range, dealing 6 damage in a 5 block radius and sets mobs on fire, without inferno damage, for 2 seconds every second. Charge up time: 1s. Duration: 10s. Cooldown: 22s.
  • Level 2: The totem deals 6 magic damage per hit, radius is increased to 7, and duration is extended to 12s.
  • Enhance: Gains 1 extra bomb per pulse and applies inferno at 50% efficiency.
  • Tips:

Lightning Totem

  • Level 1: Press the drop key while holding a melee weapon and not sneaking to fire a projectile that summons a Lightning Totem. The totem will target a mob within 7 blocks with priority towards boss and elite mobs and deal 14 magic damage every 2 seconds. Charge up time: 1s. Duration: 10s. Cooldown: 22s.
  • Level 2: The totem deals 21 magic damage per hit.
  • Enhance: If the totem kills a mob outside of an existing storm, it spawns a lightning storm at the mob's location. The lightning storm will deal 35% of the main magic damage to all mobs within 2 blocks of the center every 2 seconds for 7 seconds.

Totemic Projection

  • Level 1: Press swap with a projectile weapon to fire a projectile that, on landing, moves all active totems to within 3 blocks of it. 6s cooldown.
  • Level 2: Slow mobs near the projectile landing spot by 20% for 3s within a 6 block radius on hit. 4s cooldown.
  • Enhance: For every totem affected by this ability, the Shaman gets +15% Attack/Projectile damage for 6s.
  • Additional Information: Totems are placed equidistantly along a circle (if there are 3 totems, they form a triangle; if there are 2 totems, they form a line), unless there is only 1 totem in which case it is placed at the location that the projectile hits. Totems are arranged counter-clockwise by age.
  • Tips:

Interconnected Havoc

  • Level 1: Totems form a line between them with a maximum distance of 10, and mobs that cross those lines are dealt 5 magic damage per second within that line.
  • Level 2: Magic damage is increased to 7, and the maximum distance is now 16.
  • Enhance: Mobs are now knocked back from the player when coming in contact with the line for the first time and are stunned for 0.75s.
  • Additional Information: The hitbox is 1 block.
  • Tips:

Crystalline Combos

  • Level 1: Gain a stack of crystals each time you kill a mob not with this ability. When you get 12 stacks, they reset, and the crystals lash out at mobs within 12 blocks. Every 0.6s, a random mob is shot, dealing 7 magic damage, up to a total of 16 shots. The first shot will wait to be fired if there are no mobs in range, but subsequent shots will do nothing if there are no mobs to shoot. Stacks decay at a rate of 1 stack per 8s.
  • Level 2: Damage is increased to 10, number of shots increased to 20, stack decay rate is reduced to 1 stack per 12s.
  • Enhance: Swap hands while sneaking and holding a projectile weapon will use all existing crystal stacks to provide 4% speed per stack (max 90%) to the Shaman for 6s. Decay rate reduced to 1 stack per 16s. Can now target outside of line of sight. Cooldown 4s.
  • Tips:

Chain Lightning

  • Level 1: Right click while holding a melee weapon to cast splitting beam of lightning, bouncing between up to 3 mobs within 6 blocks of the last target hit and dealing 5 damage to each. Will also bounce to nearby totems without consuming a hit target. 2 charges, 6s cooldown.
  • Level 2: Damage increased to 7 and now hits 5 targets.
  • Enhance: Now causes each totem it bounces off of to instantly pulse its effects at 50% efficiency for damaging totems and 30% efficiency for the rest.
  • Tips:

Earthen Tremor

  • Level 1: Press swap with a weapon while sneaking to summon a earthen tremor on your position. Deals 10 magic damage to mobs within 7 blocks and pushes them away. Cooldown: 10s.
  • Level 2: Damage increased to 13 and silences targets for 1.5s.
  • Enhance: Tremor now sends out an additional 6 shockwaves from the edge of the radius outwards for an additional 5 blocks with a radius of 3 blocks. Damage is increased by 2.5.

Soothsayer

Focuses on using your tools to support your team and turn the tide of battle.

Choosing this specialization requires completion of A Shaman's Lament.

Support Expertise

  • Passive: Boosts the magic damage done by your class skills by 4% per specialization point and the power of Totemic Empowerment's buffs by 2%, as well as providing the base values to players within 12 blocks.

Sanctuary

  • Level 1: Mobs within the range of one of your totems receive 15% slowness and 20% weakness debuffs while within range.
  • Level 2: Additionally inflicts 10% vulnerability while within range.
  • Tips:

Whirlwind Totem

  • Level 1: Press the swap key while holding a melee weapon and not sneaking to fire a projectile that summons a Whirlwind Totem. Every 2s, all players in a 5 block radius have their class cooldowns reduced by 2.5% (maximum 1s). Cannot decrease the cooldown on any player's whirlwind totem, and does not stack with other whirlwind totems. Additionally, apply a 25% duration boost to other totems existing at any point in this totem's duration. Charge up time: 1s. Duration: 8s. Cooldown: 26s.
  • Level 2: Totem duration increased to 12s, and now gives 10% speed to players within range.
  • Tips:

Chain Healing Wave

  • Level 1: Punch while holding a projectile weapon to cast a beam of healing, bouncing between up to 4 players within 10 blocks of the last target hit and healing for 30% of their health. Will also bounce to nearby totems, decreasing their cooldowns by 1s without consuming a heal. 2 charges, 10s cooldown.
  • Level 2: Heal is increased to 40%, range between bounces has increased to 15, and can now heal up to 6 targets.

Hexbreaker

Deals in dark magics, focusing on harming enemies at the cost of totems.

Choosing this specialization requires completion of A Stroke of Genius.

Destructive Expertise

  • Passive: Increases the magic damage done by your class skills by 6% per specialization point.

Desecrating Shot

  • Level 1: Upon hitting a mob with a fully charged projectile, apply 15% weakness for 6s and deal 40% magic damage of the projectile's damage in a 4 block radius. 4s cooldown.
  • Level 2: Damage is increased to 60% of your bow shot and weaken increased to 30%.
  • Tips:

Decayed Totem

  • Level 1: Press the swap key while holding a melee weapon and not sneaking to fire a projectile that summons a Decayed Totem. The totem anchors up to 3 targets within 8 blocks of the totem, inflicting 4 magic damage per second and 30% Slowness. Additionally grants 1 damage to your flame totems and 5 damage to your lightning totems that exist during this totem's duration. Charge up time: 1s. Duration: 8s. Cooldown: 26s.
  • Level 2: Damage now ticks every half second, and duration is increased to 12s.
  • Tips:

Devastation

  • Level 1: Punch while holding a projectile weapon to destroy the nearest totem, dealing 23 magic damage within a 6 block radius of the totem. The totem's cooldown is reduced by 3s. Cooldown: 15s
  • Level 2: Magic damage is increased to 28 and the radius is increased to 8 blocks.
