The Lunatic's Tale: Ixume's Men is a book written by an unknown member of the bestial Lunatic cult. It is part of a series, following Creation and followed by Souls Crushed. It can be found in a chest in the Serpent Ruins alongside Venom of the Serpent, which must be retrieved during Beasts of Men.

Soon Tlaxan built temples for two
But Ixume preferred the open sky.
And at night, when the full moon rose,
The Lunatics would dance in moonbeams for their god.
Soon yellow Kaul of the Blackroot would dance with the beasts.
Ixume looked down at this spirit and smiled.
But the wars soon to come would change much.
Soon enough Myrahg would sleep.
And be locked away as his sickness spread.
Then the Soulcrusher would take Ixume when his bearer left
And the Soulcrusher created the Beastmen.
