The pressure plate to turn the Carved Staff into the Torrent Staff for The Staff and The Staff? quests can be found at -262, 93, -35.

Obtain a Whirlpool Token from the fountain in the Southern Village and throw it into the plugged whirlpool south of the Lighthouse (-845, 78, 457).
