Azacor the Dark Summoner is an instance boss in region 1. He can be fought with 1-6 players. To unlock Azacor, players must finish the quest Outer Demons, started at Helring in Lowtide.

In order to fight Azacor, a Hellpact Ritual is needed to purchase the key.

Boss Fight

When the battle begins, Azacor summons one or two mini-bosses, 1 if there are 1 or 2 players, and 2 if there are 3+ players. At 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4 health, he summons again. The mini-bosses are chosen at random, and duplicates can occur in the same fight or the same summon.

Azacor Mini-bosses

Kazar'Thun The Mighty

Kazar'Thun The Mighty is a mini-boss with high health, a high damage axe, low movement speed, the charge attack, and he inflicts wither and fire on melee attacks. The best way to fight him is to stay away from him, where his attacks are useless. Melee combat is not advised, due to his knockback immunity and shield-breaking capabilities.

Zirin'Kel The Precise

Zirin'Kel The Precise is a mini-boss with low health and a bow that shoots levitation arrows. He is best fought with burst damage or a shield, because his arrows can leave players open to Azacor's Boomline spell.

Sarin'Thul the Unseen

Sarin'Thul the Unseen is a mini-boss with low health, a high damage, wither-inflicting melee attack, and an ability to teleport behind players. He is best fought by listening for his teleport, indicated by a laughing sound, and sprinting away so he is unable to immediately attack you.

Verkan'tal The Cunning

Verkan'tal The Cunning is a mini-boss with medium health, a medium damage melee attack that inflicts fire and wither, and a spell that deals damage to all enemies within a certain distance of him. He is best fought at a range, but melee is generally safe due to the long chargeup time on his spell, during which he is unable to attack or move.

Azacor's Attacks

Trident Throw

Azacor will throw his trident at players, dealing 9 damage at a range.

Fireball

Azacor will launch large fireballs at players.

Melt

Azacor will make purple particles appear under the players' feet, which will make the ground they are on turn to lava in a few seconds.

Boomline

Azacor will fire tracking lasers at players that explode and deal massive amounts of damage when fully charged. The only way to avoid getting hit by the laser is to hide behind blocks. Azacor cannot move while charging the lasers.

Loot

Defeating Azacor for the first time each day will give a Azacor Artifact fragment, four of which can be used to craft a high-end item. A random T5 item is also dropped. After that, instead of a fragment, it will give a random Azacor Uncommon, a random T5 item, and a Fireblossom, two of which can be used at the Transmogifier to get a rare.
