Hyperion
"At last, The Stars have found a new way to satiate their hunger. A concealed gaze from The Great Beyond now shining upon the vast world within their reach, ready to be devoured."
Hyperion is a rare sword technically found within the Architect's Ring.
Obtainment Method + Masterworking Details
Unlike other masterworkable items with the Quest Reward location, Hyperion's obtainment method and initial masterwork method are closely intertwined, with multiple masterwork levels not being done at a Masterwork Anvil but rather by bringing the item to specific locations and watching specific miniature cutscenes play out.
- Firstly, ensure that you have completed the quest "All That Remains" (found in Oceangate) and subsequently received Ophion, as you must carry it to a number of locations to transform it into Hyperion and masterwork it. If you do not have yours or need a spare, additional copies can be obtained from Krinita (found at the entrance to Aphelios' Den at the top of Oceangate (-1678, 135, 68)) for 4 Hyperexperience and 3 Royal Crystals. NONE OF THIS WILL WORK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST ONE OPHION IN YOUR INVENTORY.
- Initial obtainment: Head to a small stone brick shrine on the shore of the swamp north-east of Sierhaven (-476, 102, -271). Press the button situated on the shrine, then wait for the cutscene to end, and you will receive Hyperion at its base Masterwork rarity of 1★.
- Head to the Stargazer's Hideaway POI east of Wispervale. Enter the small, ruined tower nearby located at (-1440, 92, -105). Enter the basement, press the button situated there, and wait for the cutscene to end to upgrade your new Hyperion to 2★.
- Go to the Chantry of Repentance, hop off the northern edge and land on the ledge just underneath it. Head to a stone pillar in the southern part of the ledge (-31, 132, 872). Press the button and wait for the cutscene to end to upgrade your Hyperion to 3★.
- All subsequent masterwork Levels can be done through a Masterwork Anvil.
Now, with all that said...
Like many other items in the Architect's Ring, this item can be masterworked to increase its power level further. The below table shows it stats at each Masterwork level, and what is needed to reach that level. Levels with no statistics shown are levels which cannot be obtained on the given item.
