Patreon

Patreon is a way for players to support the development of Monumenta. Becoming a patron unlocks several cosmetic options as well as grant access to potential releases early. None of the developers are paid from this. Instead, all money donated goes to developing the server and maintaining server costs.

Tiers

There are five tiers for patreon depending on the $$/month the player donates. Higher tiers get more benefits, as well as the benefits of the previous tiers. Patrons on the Discord will get a role of their tier as well as the Patron role.

Tier 1 ($1/Month)

• Patron donator rank in-game and in the Monumenta Discord
• Access to the #Patron chat room on the Discord, which will occasionally have sneak peaks to future content
• Get your player head in the Donation Hall in the Sierhaven Castle
• Iron Blocks on top of your Plots flag

Tier 2 ($5/Month)

• Ability to put Stat-Tracker on your items. To do so, speak to the NPC across from the Sierhaven Patron Shrine
  • Includes: Mobs Killed, Times Consumed, Melee Damage Dealt, Boss Damage Dealt, Spawners Broken, and Blocks Placed (Exclusive to Firmament)
• Ability to get your player head at the Patron Shrine for free
• Special Patron Parrot for free by using the Portable Parrot Bell. Texture Pack is required for the parrot's custom skin
• White enable-able particle trail

Tier 3 ($10/Month)

• One daily credit of the Patron Shrine Buffs
• Purple particle trail
• Gold Blocks on top of your Plots flag

Tier 4 ($20/Month)

• Two daily credits of the Patron Shrine Buffs
• Request a custom texture of an item Hoped by yourself from the Resource Pack Artists
• Green particle trail

Tier 5 ($30+/Month)

• One daily credit of the Patron Shrine Buffs for every $10 in your pledge, with no cap.
• Red particle trail
• Diamond Blocks on top of your Plots flag

Patron Shrine

The Patron Shrine is a feature for patrons located in the Sierhaven Bazaar and next to the prison in Mistport. Along with telling the player some information of Patreon, it has several uses for patrons of a required tier.

At Tier 2 or higher, the player may request their player head at the Shrine.

Every $10/Month pledged allows the player to activate a server-wide buff for 40 minutes. These buffs apply to everyone on the server and are permanent until the time wears off. Selecting a buff that's currently active will instead add another 40 minutes to the duration. Players may choose to opt out of certain buffs at the Patron Shrine. Buffs include: Speed, Resistance, Strength II, Health Boost, Regeneration, and Haste.

Patron Items

Creation of Patron Items has been discontinued

Patron Items are items created by the work of the patron and the developers that were then added into the game for everyone to acquire. After a patron has donated a total of $100 to the server, they were eligible for their first Patron Item. The patron will create a rough idea of what they wish their item to be. The developers will then review it to ensure the item is balanced at it's level. After negotiation and balancing, the item will then be added into the game. Patron Items are unique in that they all have different obtainment methods and materials. Some examples of methods are the Ruby's Rose obtained by a trade, the Plaguebaron's Scythe requiring use of the Tlaxan Crafter, and the Black Sun Brew requiring certain materials be thrown into a specific pool of water. Typically, an NPC will hint at the creation of the Patron Item and the location of it's materials. Patrons were not limited to one Patron Item. They were able to create a Patron Item for every $100 donated (i.e. two items at $200, four items at $400, etc.).

Patron Items are NOT exclusive to patrons. They may be acquired and used by anyone.
