Small Point is a teleport hub in Star Point. It can be accessed by ringing the bell at one of 6 bell towers across Star point, which need to be unlocked via the For Whom the Bell Tolls quest. You can ring any of the 6 bells on the lower, small version of the star point map to teleport to that bell tower.
Bells
- The Orentalus bell is a fast-travel to the Constellation Tower.
- The Borealis bell is a fast-travel to The Nadir.
- The Subterus bell is a fast-travel to The Tolumaeus and the Chittering Gutters.
- The Occidenalus bell is a fast-travel to the tower for Star Point's local bounty trader and the Starbound Sanctuary.
- The Austrus bell is a fast-travel to the southeast area of Star Point, as well as the epic trader for the Stellar Core, Astralli.
- The Dominus bell is a fast-travel to the Chantry of Repentance and the Celestial Rampart.
Puzzle
Warning. This section contains spoilers. You may wish to postpone reading further until you've played the related content. |
Additionally, there is a secret puzzle in this room. Above is a constellation which can be interacted with by clicking the froglight bulbs.
The hint given to start this secret puzzle was in a changelog, and was:
"As bells resonate throughout the Ring, a derelict seventh rots upon its precipice, yearning to be rung once more."
Step 1
- Head to the 7th bell tower on the cliffs near Shadowcast Bastille at [-222, 103, -480] and ring it. Once rung, the bell will teleport you to an inverted version of The Nadir.
- Within this twisted version of The Nadir, you'll need to navigate through it to the bridge.
- Ring the bell within the dark area. This will then open up a cave entrance behind you
- Climb the tentacles and navigate to the blue ice door on the other side of the room at [951, 225, -590].
- Drop down into the Nadir's main area and climb the southernmost tentacle near [1024, 173, -590]. Climb up the tentacle to The Nadir's bridge, and enter the cave at [1098, 204, -590].
- Additionally, there's a Jumping Puzzle before entering the cave. Take a right before entering it and follow the purple stained glass. At the end lies a rare-tier Item Discovery that rewards 10 stacks (640) bells.
- Go to this cave in the real version of The Nadir at [24, 31, 728], under the bridge. Dig through the wall and interact with the particles deeper in the cave. Doing so will start a small cutscene.
Step 2
- Within the dialogue from the cutscene, the semifinal line is a reference to the Blind Eye of Faimynyw, giving you a hint as to where you need to go next.
- Head to the Deep God's Endowment Shrine and look at the eyes in the following order:
- Right
- Upper left
- Upper right
- Bottom left
- Left
- Bottom right.
- This will lead you to the second memory, along with an Item Discovery when you dig out of this cave. The discovery will reward a Deep God's Endowment.
Step 3
- After leaving the cutscene, you'll be teleported into a cave. On this cave wall is a (very grainy) map art of the Hallowed Pond in the King's Valley.
- Go to [412, 70, 212] in the Hallowed Pond and dig straight down to find the second memory, along with a discovery, granting the Sealing Keystone.
Step 4
The Narsen capital mentioned in the dialogue is Sierhaven.
- Head into the sewers at [-844, 93, -14] and open (right click the wall) the secret door at [-783, 93, -32].
- Head into the tree room. Interact with the corpse slumped over the desk with the Sealing Keystone and a door (wall also needs to be right clicked) will open.
- Walk up the stairs a bit until you're teleported, then walk back down.
Step 5
- After entering the now changed version of the sewers' tree room, press the "Super Button" on the wall.
- Using the particles on the ground, you can construct the symbol by looking up in specific spots. The image to the right is a picture of that symbol.
- Input this pattern to Small Point and you'll be given the dialogue:
- EYES BLINDED. DOORS BROKEN.
- Finally, after being teleported to the outer world, navigate over the stony structures to claim the Legendary Item Discovery, rewarding Judgement of the Outer World.
