Currency

Currency is a type of resource players can use to purchase goods and services from NPCs and other players. In Monumenta, these resources are generally region specific and can be accumulated from loot chests, by completing quests, or by converting one currency type into another.

Region 1: King's Valley

Experience Bottles (XP, CXP, HXP)

The primary currency of the King's Valley is Experience Bottles, abbreviated XP. Experience Bottles can be converted into Concentrated Experience (CXP) and Concentrated Experience can be converted into Hyperexperience (HXP) and vise versa at the rates listed below. Conversions are made by selecting the currency in your hotbar and left or right clicking to compress or uncompress respectively. You can also hold shift to convert all currency of the selected type at once.

• 8 Experience Bottles (XP) = 1 Concentrated Experience (CXP)
• 64 Concentrated Experience (CXP) = 1 Hyperexperience (HXP)

Royal Crystal

Obtained by completing Bounties in the King's Valley, Royal Crystals are used to purchase valuable items such as Shulker Boxes.

Royal Dust

Royal Dust is used to acquire Pulsating Gold and is obtained by trading Fragments to NPCs (either the rare trader in the respective dungeon lobby, or the infusion altar attendant).

Pulsating Gold

Pulsating Gold is a rare currency in the King's Valley used primarily for Item Infusion. It can be acquired by trading 2 Royal Dust for 1 Pulsating Gold at the infusion altar in Ta'Eldim.

Region 2: Celsian Isles

Crystalline Shards (CS, CCS, HCS)

The primary currency of the Celsian Isles is Crystalline Shards, abbreviated CS. Crystalline Shards can be converted into Compressed Crystalline Shard (CCS) and Compressed Crystalline Shards can be converted into Hyper Crystalline Shard (HCS) and vise versa at the rates listed below. Conversions are made by selecting the currency in your hotbar and left or right clicking to compress or uncompress respectively. You can also hold shift to convert all currency of the selected type at once.

• 8 Crystalline Shards (CS) = 1 Compressed Crystalline Shard (CCS)
• 64 Compressed Crystalline Shard (CCS) = 1 Hyper Crystalline Shard (HCS)

Gleaming Seashell

Obtained by completing Celsian Bounties in the Celsian Isles, Gleaming Seashells are used to purchase valuable items such as Shulker Boxes, or the Perfect Crystallizer.

Gleaming Dust

Gleaming Dust is used to acquire Pulsating Emerald and is obtained by trading Fragments to NPCs (either the rare trader in the respective dungeon lobby, or the infusion altar attendant).

Pulsating Emerald

Pulsating Emerald is a rare currency in the Celsian Isles used primarily for Item Infusion. It can be acquired by trading 2 Gleaming Dust for 1 Pulsating Emerald at the infusion altar in Mistport.

Region 3: Architect's RIng

Archos Rings (AR, HAR)

The primary currency of the Architect's Ring is Archos Rings, abbreviated AR. 64 Archos Rings can be converted into 1 Hyperchromatic Archos Rings (HAR) and vise versa. There is no compressed form (CAR) in Architect's Ring. AR/HAR Conversions are made by selecting the currency in your hotbar and left or right clicking to compress or uncompress respectively. You can also hold shift to convert all currency of the selected type at once.

Godtree Carving

Obtained by completing Architect's Ring's Bounty in Galengarde, Godtree Carvings are used to purchase valuable items such as bounty items from Bounty Officials in Galengarde and New Antium, or the Bag of Hoarding.

Silver Dust

Silver Dust is used to acquire Pulsating Diamond and is obtained from the Exalted Dungeons or by trading Fragments to NPCs (either the rare trader in the respective dungeon lobby, or the infusion altar attendant).

Pulsating Diamond

Pulsating Diamond is a rare currency in the Architect's Ring used primarily for Item Infusion. It can be acquired by trading 2 Silver Dust for 1 Pulsating Diamond at the infusion altar in Galengarde.
