Lore

Bhairavi Pandya was a student at the Mage Academy who trained under Qatra, and she eventually was invited to the Mage Council. She was gifted with the ability to "sniff out" magic. Qatra was killed in Calder's attack on the Mage Council. At some unknown point in time, Bhairavi began researching the legendary artifacts known as the Wools.

One day, Bhairavi's fellow mage council member, Vargos, sent the player to her to help her with her research in Nyr. She gives the player her invention; the Topographic Curse Sensor, and sends them into the nearby field to search for a curse to test it on. The player then finds a bottle of souls which they bring back to Bhairavi who opens the bottle and then panics. The bottle had enough energy within to destroy the entire King's Valley, and she had opened it. She then tells the player to hurry to the Halls of Wind and Blood to neutralise the bottle and discover the secrets within the temple. She also sent her assistant, Rhella, to the dungeon to help out. The player found the White Wool within, and the quest to find the 5 wools of the King's Valley begun.

Bhairavi had been conducting research on the 3 Tlaxan shamans from the Blackroot War; C'Shura, C'Axtal, and C'Zanil. Recently, her team had discovered C'Zanil's tomb. She sends the player to the tomb to help her team, where they meet Pten, Wexley, Brayllur, Starn, Antigone and Keller. The tomb required 3 keys to unlock, one of which had already been obtained by the team. However, Rhella was sadly killed by a Hawk warrior during this mission, so it was too unsafe to keep trying. The player retrieves the remaining 2 keys, completes 4 challenges within the tomb, and then unlocks the resting place of C'Zanil. Within they find the whereabouts of the Fallen Menagerie, where they discover the Orange Wool.

Next, Bhairavi has the player help with her research on the Tlaxan god Myragh alongside Antigone and Keller. She reveals that her research has led her to the Grand Maw, a dangerous cave marking the end of the river running from the Narsen Sea. She sends the player there, who then finds a gemstone within that they take. This unleashes a horrible plague onto the King's Valley, and Bhairavi receives word from Farr that the entire town is on lockdown due to 17 of its residents being infected with the deadly pestilence. She sends the player to meet Dr. Laurie, who redirects them to T'lm, a Tlaxan resident of Farr. T'lm helps the player discover the Plagueroot Temple, in which they find the Magenta Wool and stop the plague.

Bhairavi is not really associated with the player's discovery of the Light Blue wool, though her assistants Starn and Keller help out.

Finally, Bhairavi researches Kaul and the Yellow Wool with her team. Starn and Brayllur interviewed a captured Son of the Forest in Highwatch under the effects of truth serum and recieved some interesting results. These results revealed the existence of a relic that "seeks the Soulspeaker" in the Verdant Fortress. Bhairavi sends the player to the fortress, where they find a familiar relic and bring it back to Bhairavi. Research reveals that they recognise the relic from the Temple to Kaul - the location of their only lasting memory from before they came to the Valley. A book is found in the temple, which helps Bhairavi figure out how to use the relic. She sends the player with Brayllur and Starn to the Cursed Forest where the relic points, where they find the Vernal Nightmare. Sadly, Starn is killed by an apparition of 4 high-ranked sons of the forest, so Brayllur and the player discover the Yellow Wool in his memory. The player completes the King's Valley Monument using the wools they have collected.

Eventually, the player takes down the Sons of the Forest in the Verdant Fortress' depths, and learn that Calder was controlling them all along. In doing so, they discovered the Malevolent Reverie and put C'Axtal to rest within, which Bhairavi learns of. She is very impressed by this feat.

Later, Bhairavi was invited to a party in Mistport that the player threw to gather information on the Celsian governments with help from Duchess Emmeline and Salieri.

After the player has finished the Celsian Isles Monument, Bhairavi returns to the Celsian Isles to research the existence of a possible 7th Celsian wool; the Blue Wool. She believes it to be present in the Isles because there is evidence that Calder is still seeking a Celsian wool, despite all 6 of the known wools being found already. She has also found many relics from the Silver Knights mentioning a Wool with the aspect of Time. She sends the player to the Sacrarium of Aeons to investigate this, alongside an assistant named Barte. However, upon reaching the Sacrarium, the player instead encountered Calder, who had disguised himself as Max; his former self before claiming the Black Wool. Calder used his hidden identity to decieve the player into believing that he was one of Bhairavi's assistants, and used them to claim and destroy the Teal Wool. This had a catastrophic outcome, however, and unleashed the Teal Spirit, Orasomn, from his wool. It is assumed that Calder killed Barte. The player returns to Bhairavi, defeated, and now the quest to stop the Teal Spirit begins.

Bhairavi and her team discovered evidence that the Teal Spirit was active at the Celsian Congress, as many oddities had been noted there. She goes there alongside the player and her team to investigate. After the player accidentally goes back in time to the days when the Congress was still intact, they discover the entrance to the Fallen Forum, where they hunt for the Teal Spirit alongside Bhairavi and her team. At the end of the Forum, they discover that the researchers at the Congress were working on creating a Wool of their own, the Olive Wool. The wool was destroyed though, and now a spirit lingers in the room it was destroyed in. Bhairavi helps the player defeat the False Spirit, and then they discover the truth. The Teal Spirit had travelled back in time and destroyed the Olive Wool to make sure that Calder knew about the Celsian Isles so that he could discover the Teal Wool and destroy it, thus ensuring his own existence.

After the failure to stop Teal in the ruined Congress, the mage council and the Celsian governments were lost for what to do to stop him. The player then brings up the fact that they met the Crimson Spirit, Vaessini, in the King's Valley, and helped him try to return to a Wool. They also bring up the fact that they met 2 silver knights; Daarken and Tuulen. This is Bhairavi's first time hearing of the existence of a Crimson Wool, and she is shocked. The player explains to her that C'Telsket destroyed the wool in the attack on Farr, and that the Crimson Spirit was released in the process. Bhairavi tells the player that the Crimson King should not be trusted, as the wool spirits are renowned liars. However, she still goes with the idea, as Vaessini is their last hope at this point. The player gets Vaessini and brings him to the Celsian Isles, where they have to stop Orasomn from destroying the Celsian Wools. They also see a vision of a memory that they do not have, in which they kill Daarken. They explain everything that happened to Bhairavi, who still does not trust the Crimson King, but will continue to help.

Bhairavi and her team got to work on clearing out all of the rubble in the area under the Silver Tower, which was the former resting place of the Lime Wool and the current resting place of Tuulen. Upon entering Tuulen's area, however, the team discover many strange apparitions in the air. Vaessini explains that these apparitions are an image of every possible way to hurt Tuulen. He then makes a deal with her that tells the team where to go to find the Silver Knight's Tomb. In the tomb, Orasomn and Vaessini are finally returned into a Wool, now together as one. The player and the team also discover the Architect's Ring after this, where Bhairavi moves her research.

Bhairavi moves her research to a room above the food shop in Galengarde, where she stays alongside Levyn and Izzy. She, Levyn and Izzy go to the Masquerader's Ruin alongside the player, where they help fight the player's ex-crewmate Samwell by crafting daggers to break Samwell's wool-powered shield. After Samwell is killed, the player reclaims the Blue Wool from Calder's forces.

Bhairavi attends Primirium Conquort's funeral after his tragic death at the hands of Calder. The funeral is shockingly interrupted by an Abello, who asks the Galengarde government for help stopping the Godspore.
